    Custom Signature Aluminum & Copper wide bore tunable Low D Irish Whistle handcrafted by Nick Metcalf from theirishwhistle.com
    This is a very unique low D whistle made with a copper body with aluminum for the outside of the mouthpiece and dyed and stabilized maple burl wood for the fipple plug. This is a one of a kind piece of playable art with a a gorgeous torched patina on the copper which is protected with ultra durable protecta-clear finish. The mouthpiece is specially designed using some of the O’Riordian style windway and the MK style blade. The copper has a very pure sound. This whistle has a very strong low D Bell tone note that really feels nice while playing it and it has a little bit of chiff but not too much. It is a little wider if a bite than many low D whistles which helps give it a nice big sound with good volume. Takes a little bit to push it all the way up to the third octave. If you are looking for a whistle that plays fantastic with a superb tone and is very unique and beautiful, look no further!
